We will have you working as a TEAM through our specialized training services!
-Behavioral Modification- Behaviorist for aggressive dogs either human-aggressive or dog-aggressive, fears, phobias, confidence building. We also work with veterinarians for dogs whose behavior issues may have medical components. Behavioral Modification is included in the Dynamic Duo Course.
Dogs are dogs- they do what's natural to them. However, we expect them to fit into our requirements/lifestyle and our society. For example, it is a dogs nature to chew things, mark territory, and even to fight for rank with other dogs. It is not fair to blame them for their behavior if they don't even know the rules! So we teach them what is, and is not acceptable to US.
No dog turned away!
We do not turn dogs down, regardless of aggression- Your dog will be fairly evaluated and we will give you an honest and experienced opinion on what your best route would be in your particular situation. Remember, most behavior issues are also obedience issues and they CAN be fixed. We have had a lot of clients who have been to other trainers, other facilities, or spoke to a self-proclaimed "dog expert", and we are their last resort. These other people have told them their dog is beyond help, the dog is just no good, the aggression is genetic, the dog is too old to learn, and the dog needs to be put down. But these dog owners did not give up, and their dogs were rehabilitated

- Obedience Instruction- all phases beginner to advanced off-leash
Private Lessons, Group Classes, Trick Training, In-home lessons
- Protection Training- more info on protection training here.
- Service Dogs- We train dogs who are specifically trained to assist a person with a disability. Some choose to train a dog they already own, and some need a specifically selected dog.
They are trained to do work or perform tasks, including, but not limited to, guiding people with impaired vision (navigating obstacles in public places working as a team with the handler, crossing streets, etc). They can also be trained as "hearing dogs", alerting people with impaired hearing (telephone, baby crying, doorbell, smoke alarm). And also Assistance Dogs, who perform tasks such as pulling a wheelchair, opening and closing doors, fetching specific items, turning lights on/off, getting mail, medication, etc. They are allowed in all public places everywhere, per the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990.

Your dog boards for two weeks (or one month). He/she is given a solid foundation of obedience and taught to clearly understand and respond to all of the cues & commands. The first day will be bonding and playing with the trainer, along with a further assesment of the dogs individual personality and needs. Through the course, your dog will follow human leadership and develop an understanding of his new language of communication. We have special confidence exercises similar to agility obstacles, that is one of the things used to build confidence. As an added benefit, your dog will become used to different people, staying in new places comfortably, and meeting new challenges. When the two-weeks is up, you come and see a show where the trainer works your dog. Then this healthy bond and leadership will be transferred to you, the owner, through private lessons and proper instruction. If you were having trouble before, this is your chance to start fresh on a new lifestyle and enjoy your dog, stress-free. Dogs and puppies ages 18 weeks and up. Great for busy owners, dogs with behavioral issues, and people who want a high level of obedience.
Board and train includes addressing any issues with behavioral modification techniques. This means there will be NO extra charge for working with dog-aggression, socialization, or any of the pet's individual needs.
